Datanamics History
Datanamics was founded in 1977 by a former IBM executive who foresaw a “technology support industry” emerging, one where new companies would focus on applying a variety of ever-increasing hardware and software, including software they developed themselves, to the specific applications of an industry segment.
Datanamics soon became known for being closely knowledgeable about the hospitality industry, which today is a major part of the “multi dwelling unit” (MDU) segment, one that also includes dormitories, time-share properties, small and large apartment complexes, and military and government housing.
Starting with back office computer applications, Datanamics’ service offerings soon moved to include systems integration services, computer and telecommunications network planning, and related activities in design, implementation, operations, maintenance, and 24/365 call-center support.
